Synopsis and Discussion

Particle pollution remains slightly elevated and code YELLOW, Thursday, while cloudy skies, throughout the region, has limited ozone to code GREEN. A cold front will sweep through the state, later Thursday, ushering in a cleaner, cooler, air mass, on brisk NW winds, Friday. AQI levels will drop back to low/mid code GREEN, Friday and continue into Saturday. A backdoor cold front will push through the Triad, Sunday, helping to keep pollution levels low and code GREEN to end the weekend (GENTRY).
