Detention Captain Mark Leake Retires

Captain Mark Leake began his career in law enforcement with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office before being hired on March 16th, 1991 by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer. During his career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, he received several awards, certificates, and promotions with his most recent to the rank of Detention Captain in 2014. At the time of his retirement on August 1, 2017, Captain Leake was assigned as the Detention Operational Services Commander.
