During 2015, Deputy Johnson contributed 248 volunteer hours working with the FCSO Patrol Section and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team as their primary field combat medic. Additionally, his ten years of service and extensive medical experience with the Forsyth County Special Operations Response Team provided additional support to the SWAT Team with emergency medical assistance when needed.
Deputy Johnson successfully completed the Patrol Field Training program. This extensive 12 week, 510 hour program is designed for full-time sworn deputies. Deputy Johnson completed the Patrol Field Training course while maintaining a separate full-time career as a Physician’s Assistant.
Deputy Johnson’s outstanding performance and exceptional contribution to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is greatly appreciated.
